The fifth edition of our event Mare & Mosto (“Le Vigne Sospese”) returns to one of the most stunning and infamous hot spots of the Italian Riviera. An ex Monastery that sits upon one of the most beautiful locations that many claim is like the sister of Portofino and is called The Bay of Silence in Sestri Levante! Two days will be dedicated to the tastes of Ligurian wine. This event is held each year in this breath taking location by AIS (Association Italian sommelier) in collaboration with the region.
In its fifth year edition it returns to the Bay of silence on Sunday 19th and Monday 20th May 2019. The wine for this year will include all of the flavors from this Ligurian territory.
“Mare & Mosto” is the largest review of Ligurian wine organized in the region and where around seventy producers participate and represent the eight denominations present in Liguria.
An unmissable event for wine lovers who meet every year in the “City of the two seas” to taste some of the best
Ligurian food and wine. In addition to wine the event also specialises in some of the most sought after extra virgin olive oil products you can find thanks to the collaboration of the Consorzio Riviera Ligure Dop, la participation of various companies and the collaboration with Luigi Caricato of OlioOfficina, one of the leading Italian experts on the subject within the region of Piemonte.
The main hall of the exhibition will be entirely dedicated to regional wine production, while an ad hoc space will be reserved for oil producers with tastings. Also we will provide the most phenomenal food area which will include all the Ligurian gastronomic excellences, and a space dedicated to the Alta Langa Consortium.
